Nightmare Fuel

Happy Halloween everyone! Hopefully you didn't live in my area that had a torrential downpour and you managed to get lots of candy. XD

Sooo.... this is a pic of Vincent, my ghost OC! I guess it's my yearly tradition to upload a pic with him in it on Halloween. XD Looks like he's scaring off some folk in a forest! XD I guess he looks rather ghoulish here, which I suppose would be appropriate for today. XD I could have drawn him scarier, but I wanted him to still be recognizable.

Anyways, for the longest time, I had an artblock, and originally I wanted to do a drawing of Vincent and his friends, but with a lack of ideas, coupled with the fact that I had a midterm worth 50 % of my final mark today, I didn't get to place much time into this piece. Would have actually preferred a more elaborate background, but time being what it was, I sort of had to produce the "lazy man's background". LOL The pic itself was actually from a really old and rough sketch I had lying about. Definitely never drew at this angle before and I'm certain I've broken some laws of anatomy. XD The pose definitely challenged me in many ways (anatomy, perspective, etc) so hopefully I've gained something from it. Actually exaggerated the anatomy a bit since it was such an extreme pose. *waits for the fangirl screams* LOL I think I've improved on some optical illusions too.

Wonder if anyone knows the reference for the title?

The basic premise is that this contest involves drawing any of my ghost OCs. The setting for the entries is meant to revolve around the holiday of Halloween.  Go read the “How to Win” section below for more details on the idea of the theme.
