HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween everyone!
As some of you may know, and many of you who may not (gained a fair amount of watchers in the last year... around 65 or so), every Halloween I draw my ghost OC, Vincent. Seems to be a tradition that I draw him for Halloween, because he first appeared in this gallery on Halloween of 2011. Also pictured here is my OC Justin! Hehe it's actually the first time I've drawn him since I made his character sheet! Made a few minor adjustments to his design, but he's practically the same. This is an actual scene of the rudimentary story I have in mind. If I ever developed it, this would for sure be a scene. It's actually reminiscent of what Razuri did here:  Justin and co end up having to take shelter in an old worn down house in a severe storm. There they make some unanticipated meetings. Chaos insues. lol

So this pic took A LOT of technique into it (especially the background). The wallpaper is of course sort of my spin on the wallpaper from Disney's Haunted Mansion. Made a custom pattern and everything! Had lots of fun with some of the other details too like the pumpkins, spider and the window in genral with it's foggy silhouette of a tree during a stormy night. For Justin, I sort of borrowed how Mikoto produces electricity from a Certain Scientific Railgun. Vincent took a lot of technique too and I tried taking on some new challenges. For one, he's completely lineless, except for his face. Really tried to mimic that Casper style of ghost transparency. Thanks to Adobe Creative Cloud, I was also able to add a path blurr around the tail area to add that extra idea of motion!
